Apple TV with ATV Flash

Hey everyone! So I’m about to pick up an Apple TV, and I’m wanting to install ATV Flash onto it to extend the features to support more codecs and also have Boxee on it.

I’ve got a few questions about it if you’ve used it, or know anyone who has, I’d appreciate some answers:

• Does it affect the performance of the device?
• Does it cause any bugs in the Apple TV interface?
• Does it generally work well? I’d hate to pay for the software and find out it doesn’t do what it says very well.

If you’ve used it, drop a comment below and I’d really appreciate any feedback. If you’ve got any other routes to go with my media center setup, I’d appreciate those as well. I’m trying to work out what would be the best setup for storing my music, pictures and video (I don’t want my PC to have to be on when I want to use it) and streaming YouTube. The ability to ‘rent’ movies is an added bonus, I wont use it often but with the Apple TV it may come in handy.
